This page displays candidates running for office, as well as forms and other resources for candidates. If you have questions about running for office, please contact our office.

Offices to be nominated/elected on the 2024 Primary/General Ballots include:

U.S. President/Vice President
U.S. Senator
U.S. Representative

State Senate Districts 4, 6, and 8
State House of Representative Districts 4 (shared with Platte Co.), 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 41, 42, 43, 44, and 61

County Commissioners (2 seats)
Assessor (Remainder of the unexpired term)
Precinct Committee Officers (Primary only)

Cheyenne Mayor
Cheyenne City Council

Offices and issues to be elected/voted on the 2024 General Ballot include:

Justices of Supreme Court
Circuit Court Judges

College and School Boards (Laramie County School District #1 and #2) and Constitutional Amendment A

    • In order to pass, a constitutional amendment and statewide ballot issue must receive a majority of the total ballots cast in the election. As an example, if the total number of ballots cast in the general election was 250,701, the majority needed to approve a constitutional amendment would be 125,351.
